Casting for Hampala @ Sebarau @ Adong @ Dungan in Murum, Sarawak

This time i'm bringing you guys to a new place called Murum which recently built hydroelectric dam was completed. Day 1 & day 2 were bad due to heavy rain causing all the rivers became muddy.

3rd day or our last day before heading home with only 4 hours max for casting was awesome. Caught a lot of Hampala @ Sebarau myself using lures and spoon. A night before was clear and starry, furthermore early sunshine in the morning which might resulted in a good catches in the day.

Murum Jetty 

Sebarau @ Hampala Bimaculata or locally known in Murum as Dungan

100% Hampala @ Sebarau caught was from the Bimaculata species

Hampala @ Sebarau caught using Storm Thunder Barra 12cm lures. Rod - Extreme Anglers Custom Rod  & Reel - Daiwa Ryoga 1016

Abu Island spoon works very well in slightly muddy rivers. Another decent size  Hampala @ Sebarau 2 belong
